Ahtme
About Ahtme
Ahtme is a technical death metal band based in Kansas City, Missouri. Originally formed in 2005 under the name The Roman Holiday, the group underwent a hiatus before re-emerging as Ahtme. Their sound is characterized by surgically precise guitar work, a groove-oriented rhythm section, and aggressive vocal delivery. The band gained wider recognition after signing with Unique Leader Records, which issued their debut full-length, The Demonization, in 2016. They followed this with the 2020 release Mephitic. The band's songwriting approach emphasizes technical complexity and structural precision.
