Stabwound was a brutal death metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden, active between 2000 and 2005. The group focused on themes of gore, death, murder, mutilation, and horror. Their discography includes the 2002 EP Bloodsoaked Serenades and the 2004 full-length album Human Boundaries, released via Brutal Bands. The band also appeared on the compilation Rock Hall III Absolute Death. Following their dissolution in 2005, the project remains a documented entity within the Swedish extreme metal underground.
