Deviser
About Deviser
Formed in 1989 in Chania, Crete, Deviser is a long-running Greek band that relocated to Athens in 1992. Initially rooted in primitive thrash and death metal, the group evolved into a melodic black metal act incorporating atmospheric keyboards. Their discography includes the 1994 EP The Revelation of Higher Mysteries and several full-length albums, such as the 2023 release Evil Summons Evil. While often associated with the broader Hellenic black metal sound, their music frequently integrates a chunky, thrash-influenced approach alongside melodic guitar arrangements.
