About Blood Feast

Formed in Bayonne, New Jersey, in 1985 under the name Bloodlust, Blood Feast emerged as a significant act in the 1980s American thrash metal scene. After changing their name to Blood Feast, the band released their debut album, Kill for Pleasure, in 1987, followed by Chopping Block Blues in 1989. Following a period of inactivity and intermittent reunions, the band solidified a new lineup in 2014. This iteration signed with Hells Headbangers Records and released the full-length album The Future State of Wicked in 2017. Their sound is characterized by a raw, aggressive approach to thrash metal, often incorporating elements of death metal and horror-themed lyrics.
