About Dead Witches

Dead Witches is an international stoner and doom metal project formed in 2016 by drummer Mark Greening, formerly of Electric Wizard and Ramesses. The band emerged from a collaboration with Italian vocalist Virginia Monti, aiming to craft a sound defined by fuzzy instrumentation, heavy drumming, and occult-themed lyrics. Recording sessions for their material have frequently taken place at Chuckalumba Studios in the New Forest, England. The band's debut full-length, Ouija, was released in 2017, followed by The Final Exorcism in 2019. Throughout their existence, the group has undergone several lineup changes, maintaining a focus on a traditional, Sabbath-influenced doom aesthetic.
