Veilburner

About Veilburner

Formed in 2014 in Pennsylvania, Veilburner is an avant-garde black and death metal duo consisting of Mephisto Deleterio, who handles all instrumentation and production, and vocalist Chrisom Infernium. The band is known for a sound defined by dissonant, infectious riffs, warped song structures, and vocal performances that shift between guttural growls and unhinged, esoteric shouts. Their work explores recurring themes of Gnosticism, nihilism, and cosmic horror. Since their inception, the duo has maintained a prolific output, releasing nine full-length studio albums. Their ninth record, All That Glimmers Is Gloam, was released in 2026 through Transcending Obscurity Records, continuing their exploration of cryptic mysticism and complex, atmospheric metal.
