About Abhorer

Formed in Singapore in 1988, Abhorer emerged from the ashes of the band Tombcrusher. The group is recognized for a sound that blends elements of black, death, and thrash metal. Throughout their initial period of activity, the band released the demo Rumpus of the Undead (1989), the EP Upheaval of Blasphemy (1991), and their sole full-length album, Zygotical Sabbatory Anabapt, which was originally released in 1996. The band's classic lineup featured Exorcist on guitars, Crucifer on vocals, Imprecator on bass, and Dagoth on drums.
