Formed in Speyer, Germany, in 1986, Blood is a long-standing death metal and grindcore band. Initially established as a noisecore project, the group evolved toward a more structured musical approach by 1987. Throughout their career, the band has explored themes including gore, anti-Christianity, politics, and society. Their extensive discography features numerous full-length releases, including Christbait, O agios pethane, Mental Conflicts, Depraved Goddess, and Gas, Flames, Bones. Blood remains active, maintaining a consistent presence in the extreme metal scene for over three decades.
