Theotoxin

About Theotoxin

Formed in Vienna, Austria, in 2016, Theotoxin is an extreme metal band that has evolved from early black/death metal roots into a focused black metal entity. The group explores theological and anti-religious themes, drawing inspiration from the concept that organized religion acts as a poison. Since their 2017 debut, Atramentvm, the band has maintained a consistent output, including the albums Consilivm, Fragment : Erhabenheit, and their 2022 release, Fragment : Totenruhe. Known for their intense live performances and aggressive, atmospheric sound, Theotoxin has toured extensively across Europe. Their music is characterized by a blend of raw, vitriolic aggression and increasing melodic complexity, solidifying their reputation within the contemporary European black metal scene.
