About FleshTorture
Formed in 2004 in León, Nicaragua, FleshTorture is a brutal death metal and grindcore band. Initially active until 2016, the group reformed in 2017 and began incorporating Spanish lyrics into their songwriting. Their lyrical themes have evolved from early focuses on sexual torture and gore to later explorations of anti-Christianity, sickness, and death. The band has maintained a consistent presence in the Nicaraguan underground scene, releasing several studio albums, including the 2021 full-length Grotesca doctrina de la perversidad. They continue to operate under the label Brute! Productions.
