About Putrified J

Formed in Liège, Belgium, in 2009, Putrified J is a slamming brutal death metal act dedicated to primal, high-intensity aggression. The band has maintained a consistent presence in the underground scene for over a decade, focusing on the visceral, down-tuned aesthetics characteristic of the slam subgenre. Their discography includes the 2019 EP The Deep End of Horror, which utilizes classic horror-themed samples and heavy, rhythmic chugging, followed by the 2022 full-length release Annihilating the Weak. Putrified J continues to operate as a focused entity within the Belgian death metal landscape, prioritizing raw, uncompromising brutality in their compositions.
