About Aeon
Aeon is a Swedish death metal band formed in Östersund in 1999, emerging from the remnants of the group Defaced Creation. The band is known for a style characterized by technical precision and high-velocity aggression, with lyrical themes centered on anti-Christianity, Satanism, and blasphemy. Following their 2001 EP, the band released their debut full-length, Bleeding the False, in 2005. They subsequently signed with Metal Blade Records, releasing Rise to Dominate (2007), Path of Fire (2010), Aeons Black (2012), and God Ends Here (2021). Throughout their career, the group has maintained a focus on technical death metal, with production and engineering often handled by band members.
