About Pestnebel
Pestnebel is a German black metal band formed in 2002 and based in Kassel. The project is led by Pestmeister Tairach, who handles guitars and vocals. Musically, the band adheres to a raw, second-wave black metal aesthetic, characterized by aggressive tempos, dense guitar work, and harsh vocal delivery. Their discography includes several full-length albums, such as the 2011 release Necro and the 2025 album Verfall. The band's lyrical and thematic focus centers on concepts of decay and decline. Throughout their history, Pestnebel has maintained a consistent approach to the genre, prioritizing traditional black metal structures and intensity.
