About Hanzaisha
Hanzaisha was a Japanese extreme metal band formed in Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture, in 2024. The project, whose name translates to "criminal," was established by Black Infestation following the dissolution of the crust punk band Gouniromech. Hanzaisha operated within a fusion of black metal, death metal, and crust, often categorized by the band as "War Crust." Their sound combined the primitive, aggressive aesthetics of war metal with the tempo and structure of crust punk and grindcore. The band's discography includes the demo "Unholy Emperor" (2025), as well as the full-length albums "Antichrist Supremacy Violations" (2025) and "Triumphant Devastation of the Empire" (2026). The project remained active until 2026.
