About In Pain
In Pain is a Swedish death metal band formed in 1992. The group maintains an old-school aesthetic, characterized by the use of HM-2 distortion and a sound rooted in the traditional Swedish death metal style. The current lineup consists of Micke on vocals, guitarists Wegren and Nicklas, bassist Öberg, and drummer Jimmy. Their discography includes several releases, most notably the 2026 full-length album My Knife Cuts Flesh, which was recorded at Sunlight Studio and mixed by Tomas Skogsberg. The band continues to operate with a focus on the gritty, chainsaw-toned sound associated with their origins.
