About Exaltation

Exaltation is a New Zealand-based extreme metal act that emerged from obscurity following a 2017 demo tape. The band operates at the intersection of black and death metal, delivering a sound characterized by feral intensity and technical precision. In 2022, they released their debut full-length album, Under Blind Reasoning. This record marked a significant shift from their earlier lo-fi output, showcasing a more polished and monumental production style. The band's compositions are noted for their unrelenting, aggressive delivery and a soundscape that draws from the foundations of bestial death metal.
