About Exaugurate

Exaugurate is a United States-based death metal band formed by musicians with backgrounds in acts such as Hollowed Idols, Ectovoid, Cemetery Filth, and Seraphic Entombment. The group gained recognition for their 2020 debut, Chasm of Rapturous Delirium. Their sound is characterized by a dense, atmospheric approach to death metal, blending maze-like riff structures with aggressive percussion and dual-vocal delivery. While their style evokes the sinister, cavernous aesthetic associated with the late 2000s death metal resurgence, the band maintains a distinct identity through their focus on morbid, charnel-infused compositions. Exaugurate continues to explore a path of dark, technical hostility within the extreme metal underground.
