Desecration

About Desecration

Formed in Newport, South Wales, in 1992, Desecration is a British death metal band that has remained active for over three decades. The group gained early notoriety in 1995 when their debut album, Gore and Perversion, was seized and destroyed by local authorities due to its controversial content, leading to the arrest of band members. Following this period, the band continued to refine their aggressive sound, releasing several full-length albums including 2004's Inhuman. Throughout their career, Desecration has toured extensively alongside prominent acts such as Deicide, Morbid Angel, and Vader, establishing themselves as a persistent force within the extreme metal underground.
