Cut

About Cut

Formed in 2022 in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, Cut is an independent black and death metal project from China. The band operates as a duo featuring Ironthorn and Providence Zon, both of whom contribute vocals and guitars, with Ironthorn also handling bass duties. Their sound is defined by a raw, aggressive approach to extreme metal, centered thematically on Satanism. In 2022, the band released Vanquish the Weak, a work that captures their uncompromising sonic direction. Cut remains an active force within the underground scene, continuing to develop their dark, abrasive style from their base in Shanxi.
