About Coscradh

Formed in Ireland in 2015, Coscradh performs an extreme blend of black and death metal rooted in Celtic history, ancient mysticism, and folklore. The band’s lyrical themes frequently incorporate Gaelic language to explore druidic traditions and the violent chronicles of Ireland’s past. Their sound is characterized by a chaotic, aggressive assault interspersed with atmospheric passages of ambient ritual and harsh noise. The current lineup features Ciarán Ó Críodáin, Hick Ó Aodha, Jason Keane, and Boban Bubnjar. In 2026, the band released their second full-length album, Carving the Causeway to the Otherworld, through 20 Buck Spin, further cementing their focus on ancestral memory and the intersection of spiritual ritual with visceral, metallic aggression.
