About Casket Mush

Formed in 2021 in Whittier and Buena Park, California, Casket Mush is a goregrind outfit exploring themes of gore, perversion, and tragic accidents. The band features a lineup of Matt (guitars, vocals), Vic (vocals), Chud (bass), and Derek (drums). Their sound is characterized by vicious, gore-focused blasts interspersed with doom-influenced dirges and a distinct, cavernous production atmosphere. Following their earlier work, including 'The Pungent Stench of Rott and Infectous Subjection', the band independently released the full-length album 'Evocation of Paranoia' in March 2026. The group has also contributed material to a split release with Gastropod.
