Formed in 1989 in Redwood City, California, Immortal Fate is a death metal band recognized for their brutal, heavy sound. The group, which has also been associated with deathgrind and thrash metal elements, explores themes of violence and brutality. Throughout their history, the band has maintained a reputation for a dense, aggressive sonic approach, characterized by deep, consistent vocals and a powerful, bulldozer-like rhythm section. Their discography includes the notable release Beautiful, which was reissued in 2025. Members of the band have also been involved in various other projects within the grindcore and hardcore scenes, including No Le$$, Kalmex, and the Riffmerchants.
