Formed in 2006 in Budapest, Hungary, Paediatrician is an extreme metal band operating at the intersection of slamming brutal death metal and goregrind. Originally established under the name Supplication, the group has maintained a consistent presence in the underground scene, focusing their lyrical themes on pathology, disease, infections, and genetic disorders. The band has released several full-length albums, including Surgical Excoriation (2014), Pregnant Pathology (2016), Intrauterine Infection (2017), Harlequin Fetus (2019), Postpartum Depression (2022), and Tales from the Hospital (2026). Throughout their career, the band has undergone multiple lineup changes while continuing to refine their aggressive, medically-themed sound.
