Crocell

About Crocell

Formed in Aarhus, Denmark, in 2007, Crocell is an active death and black metal band. Initially established as a melodic death metal act, the group has progressively incorporated more blackened elements into their sound over the course of their career. The band has maintained a consistent output, releasing seven full-length albums to date, including their 2026 effort, Swarm of Insects. This latest release marks a shift in their creative process, as it is the first album written with guitarist Mads Bertram and the first recorded entirely by the band members themselves. Crocell continues to refine their blend of deathly brutality and blackened atmosphere, maintaining a presence in the Danish extreme metal scene.
