Ad Vitam Infernal is a French death metal band formed in 2017. The project is primarily the work of multi-instrumentalist Jérôme Mahé, who handles guitars, bass, and drum programming. Musically, the band blends brutal death metal with old-school tendencies, incorporating complex, non-flashy riff structures that draw comparisons to the styles of Immolation or Hate Eternal. In 2024, the band released their second full-length album, Le ballet des anges, which explores themes centered on the narrative of a fallen angel experiencing human existence.
