Pissgrave

Formed in Philadelphia in 2013, Pissgrave is a death metal band recognized for a raw, aggressive, and intentionally abrasive sound. The group gained initial attention through a self-titled demo before signing with Profound Lore Records for their 2015 debut full-length, Suicide Euphoria. Produced by Arthur Rizk, the album established the band's reputation for violent, uncompromising compositions and provocative, graphic imagery. They continued this trajectory with their 2019 sophomore release, Posthumous Humiliation, which further refined their primitive yet intense sonic approach. Pissgrave remains a notable presence in the American underground, distinguished by their hostile aesthetic and a commitment to extreme, visceral death metal.
