Necrotesque

Necrotesque is a death metal band based in Helmond, Netherlands. The group performs in an old-school death metal style, drawing musical inspiration from acts such as Grave, Six Feet Under, Asphyx, and Entombed. The current lineup consists of Lodewijk van Doorn on vocals, Arjan Jansen on guitar, Dave Blummel on bass, and Harald Bouten on drums. In May 2026, the band released their second full-length album, Et Mortui Resurgent, which explores themes of death and cyclical decay through a combination of aggressive, fast-paced passages and slower, atmospheric sections.
