Fetid Zombie

Fetid Zombie is a death metal project formed in 2007 in Virginia, United States. It functions as the solo endeavor of musician and illustrator Mark Riddick, who handles all vocals, instrumentation, and programming. The project explores themes of death, gore, and the macabre through a style rooted in old-school death metal, often incorporating elements of hard rock and technical death metal. Riddick maintains a prolific output of releases, including the 2019 EP Death Covenant, while eschewing live performances. The music is characterized by a focus on prominent bass lines, melodic guitar work, and atmospheric song structures.
