Harkane

Formed in 2014 within the region of the former Serenissima Republic of Venice, Italy, Harkane is a melodic death and black metal project. The band emerged from a desire to translate ancient legends, mythological conflicts, and historical narratives into a musical framework. Their sound is characterized by a blend of black metal-inspired segments and death metal riffage, often incorporating orchestral and somber passages to establish a dark, atmospheric tone. Harkane released their full-length album, Fallen King Simulacrum, through the label Dusktone in 2020. The work explores themes rooted in antiquity and olden divinities, reflecting the band's focus on storytelling through extreme metal.
