Nordjevel

Nordjevel is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 2015 by vocalist Doedsadmiral. The group features musicians with backgrounds in established acts such as Ragnarok, Myrkskog, and Dark Funeral. Their sound has evolved from the melodic black metal of their 2016 self-titled debut toward a denser, death-informed style, as heard on the full-length albums Necrogenesis (2019) and Gnavhòl (2022). The band’s discography also includes the EPs Krigsmakt (2017), Fenriir (2021), and Of Rats and Men (2022). Lyrical themes center on darkness, anti-religion, Norse mythology, and the Norwegian landscape.
