Agonal Breathing

Agonal Breathing is an international slamming brutal death metal project formed in 2017. The duo consists of Luis Flores, who handles all instrumentation, and vocalist Brandon Smith. Operating across Kansas, United States, and Carabobo, Venezuela, the band focuses on themes of death, gore, torture, and misogyny. Their discography includes the 2017 debut full-length Pure Agony and the 2022 release Bloodthirsty Mutilation, issued through Brutal Mind. The project is characterized by a straightforward, rhythmic approach to brutal death metal, prioritizing thick, down-tuned guitar work and a consistent, heavy production style without relying on modern genre trends.
