FesterDecay

Formed in 2015 in Fukuoka, Japan, FesterDecay is a goregrind act dedicated to themes of gore. The band has established a reputation for delivering visceral, abrasive sounds that draw stylistic parallels to the foundational work of Carcass, as well as contemporaries like Pharmacist and Exhumed. Their discography includes the 2020 release Encyclopedia of Putrefactive Anomalies and the 2023 effort Reality Rotten to the Core. Now signed to Relapse Records, the group continues to refine their approach to extreme metal, which they describe as the sound of a soul rotting away.
