Nirvana 2002

Nirvana 2002 was a Swedish death metal band formed in 1988 in Edsbyn. Originally established under the name Prophet 2002, the project eventually adopted the moniker Nirvana 2002. The group remained active until 1991, contributing to the early development of the Swedish death metal sound through a series of demos and rehearsals. Their output from this period is documented in the compilation Recordings 89-91, which collects various rare tracks recorded during their initial tenure.
