Carnal Savagery

Formed in 2017, Carnal Savagery is a Swedish death metal band rooted in the legacy of 1990s progenitors Cromlech. The duo, consisting of Mikael Lindgren and Mattias Liija, crafts a sound that blends traditional HM-2 Swedish riffing with the precision of early American death metal. Known for a prolific output, the band has released multiple full-length albums, including "Graveworms, Cadavers, Coffins and Bones" (2024) and "Crypt of Decay" (2025). Their lyrical themes frequently explore morbid narratives, including the lives of serial killers. Recorded at Studio LV5, their work is characterized by a raw, old-school aesthetic that appeals to fans of classic death metal acts like Entombed, Autopsy, and Dismember.
