Witches Hammer

Witches Hammer is a Canadian extreme metal band originating from the Vancouver area. Formed in 1984, the group became a foundational element of the local scene, predating many other regional acts. During their initial period of activity, which lasted until 1990, the band released several demos and an EP. After a long hiatus, guitarist Marco Banco and vocalist Rayy Crude revived the project in 2018. Their sound incorporates elements of speed, thrash, and black metal. In 2020, the band released their first full-length album, Damnation Is My Salvation, through Nuclear War Now! Productions.
