Worm

Formed in 2012 in Florida, United States, Worm is an extreme metal project that has evolved from its early black, death, and doom metal roots into a style incorporating symphonic black metal elements. Initially a solo project led by Phantom Slaughter, the band has expanded to include additional musicians, including guitarist Wroth Septentrion. Worm’s discography reflects this stylistic progression, moving from early releases like Evocation of the Black Marsh (2017) through the EP Bluenothing (2022) to the full-length albums Evocation of the Black Marsh (2023) and Necropalace (2026). The band's work explores themes of vampirism, occultism, darkness, and death.
