Sintury

Formed in 1997 in Cedar Hill, Texas, Sintury was a brutal death metal band that emerged during the formative years of the Texas death metal scene. The group is best known for their 1998 full-length album, Disgorging the Dead, released via Corpse Gristle Records. The band's sound was characterized by mid-to-fast-paced compositions, intricate drum patterns, and a distinctively audible, low-tuned bass presence. Their lyrical themes focused on death and gore. The lineup for their sole release featured Kevin Clark on vocals and rhythm guitar, George Crounse on lead guitar, Emmitt Gillaspy on bass and backing vocals, and Chris Stevens on drums. The band has since split up.
