My Dying Bride

Formed in Bradford, England, in 1990, My Dying Bride stands as a foundational pillar of the doom and death metal genres. Alongside Anathema and Paradise Lost, they are recognized as one of the "Peaceville Three," instrumental in shaping the early death/doom and gothic metal landscape. Known for their exploration of themes such as despair, tragedy, and faithlessness, the band has maintained a consistent output of melancholic, atmospheric compositions for over three decades. Their extensive discography includes 15 studio albums, with their latest release, A Mortal Binding, arriving in 2024 via Nuclear Blast. The band continues to be defined by their signature blend of heavy, serpentine riffs and haunting, emotive arrangements.
