Fleshgrind
Formed in Chicago in 1993, Fleshgrind was a brutal death metal band that emerged to uphold the genre's uncompromising intensity. Throughout their twelve-year tenure, the group balanced technical aggression with grindcore influences, documenting their evolution through releases like the 1995 demo Sorrow Breeds Hatred... Bleed on Me and three full-length studio albums. Known for their relentless touring and high-speed execution, the band solidified their place in the underground scene before disbanding in 2005 following the departure of founding guitarist and vocalist Rich Lipscomb. Their legacy remains preserved through various compilations, including the 2021 collection Demo Days, which captures the raw, formative energy of their early career.
