Nithing

Nithing is a brutal death metal project based in California, formed in 2014. Helmed by multi-instrumentalist Matt Kilner, the project explores themes of horror, suffering, and gore. Nithing released the EP Fetid Reek of Interminable Existence in 2016, followed by the full-length album Agonal Hymns in 2023 through New Standard Elite. The project is characterized by a technical and aggressive approach to the genre, featuring dense, snare-heavy percussion, twisted guitar work, and guttural vocals.
