Death Yell

Death Yell is a Chilean death and black metal band formed in Santiago in 1987, originally under the name Pestilence. The group emerged during the early South American extreme metal scene, gaining recognition for their 1989 demo, Vengeance from Darkness. After an abrupt split in 1992, the band remained inactive for two decades before reuniting. Their discography includes the 2017 full-length album Descent into Hell and the 2025 release Demons of Lust, alongside the 2025 demo Asmodeus' Disciples. The band's sound is characterized by a blend of death and black metal elements, maintaining the raw, aggressive approach established during their initial years.
