Gorerotted

Formed in London, England, in 1997, Gorerotted was a deathgrind band that operated until 2008. The group was known for a dual-vocal approach, contrasting deep death growls with high-pitched screams. Their musical style combined rapid, technically demanding instrumentation with lyrical themes heavily inspired by horror cinema and serial killers. The band frequently utilized dark humor, puns, and wordplay in their song titles, such as the sitcom-inspired "Only Tools and Corpses." Their discography includes the full-length releases Mutilated in Minutes (2000), Only Tools and Corpses (2003), and A New Dawn for the Dead (2005). Following their dissolution in 2008, the band reformed under the name The Rotted.
