Gorgasm

Formed in Chicago in 1994, Gorgasm is a brutal death metal band that emerged from the remnants of the local group Crematorium. The band initially disbanded in 2008 before reuniting in 2010. Throughout their career, they have maintained a focus on high-speed, aggressive death metal, documented through releases such as the 1998 EP Stabwound Intercourse and full-length albums including Bleeding Profusely (2001), Masticate to Dominate (2003), Destined to Violate (2014), and Orgy of Murder (2018). The group also released the demo "96" in 2022, continuing their long-standing presence within the American extreme metal scene.
